Student Journalism

As a student, I wrote for The Cambridge Student (TCS) and Varsity between February 2021 and February 2022.

Starting off with theatre reviews for TCS, I contributed to lots of sections for Varsity: features, opinion, fashion and lifestyle.

I also spent six months as senior features editor for Varsity, collaboratively leading a small team of student journalists.

We commissioned, edited and published new articles each week, using WordPress online and InDesign for the print newspaper.

Here’s an example of a feature I wrote for Varsity. It’s called Much Ado About Nothing, and it explores the juxtaposition between the terrifying prospect of global pandemic and the normality of everyday life at home.
