While I studied towards an NCTJ qualification (National Council for the Training of Journalists), I had a weekly placement with online news publication South West Londoner.
I wrote weekly content for them for about three months, and later made a piece of multimedia longform journalism for their website.

The longform digital feature I made for South West Londoner is called Wow! Have you lost weight? It explores why weight-loss compliments are problematic through writing, infographics, images, soundbites and a video interview.
Here’s an example of news that I wrote for South West Londoner. It’s a long data-based analysis of SUV ownership in south-west London (particularly Kensington and Chelsea) and the impact this has on the environment and other road users.

Here’s a final example of news I wrote for South West Londoner, this time about a street party happening at Battersea Power Station to celebrate the opening of the new nearby tube station.
